Lions Club of Waroona

Who are we?

Waroona Lions Club has been serving the community since 1969.

We are a volunteer organisation that performs charitable service work and raises money to help those in need. Through our efforts we contribute to building healthier, stronger communities.

We are members of Lions Clubs International – the world’s largest service club organisation that has nearly 1.4 million members in over 205 countries around the world. We even have a role within the United Nations!

What do we do?

Lions Clubs are active in a wide range of service activities globally, within Australia and locally. Here are just a few:

Allfunds raised by Lions goes to those who need it - over 70% is donated back into the local community while the remainder is directed to District, State, National and International service projects.

We are not-for-profit and we volunteer to serve.

Think you could be a Lion or a LEO?

Who can be a member?

Anyone over the age of 18 can be a Lion and anyone aged between 12 and 18 can be a LEO.. We are independent of religion, politics and government. We are a group of caring volunteers and we are always looking for an extra pair of hands to help out and to keep our club strong and active. Membership is by invitation but enquiries are always welcome.
