St Joseph's School Waroona
St Joseph's School is a coeducational Catholic primary school comprising Kindergarten to Year 6, serving the community of Waroona and neighbouring districts. The school was established by the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart, founded by Saint Mary MacKillop. The school has a strong Mary MacKillop tradition with a Mission to provide an affordable, quality Catholic education. A strong relationship exists between the School and Parish communities.
Our Vision: St Joseph’s School, as an integral part of the Waroona Catholic Community, is inspired by Christ’s teachings. We endeavour to nurture all children to grow as confident, independent, life-long learners, enabling them to contribute to society with dignity, respect and a spirit of service.

The school promotes excellence in all of its activities, including comprehensive Literacy, Mathematics and support programs. All classrooms are equipped with Smartboard technology, Apple TVs, as well as computers, Chromebooks and iPads to support dynamic teaching and learning environments. Students represent the school in athletics and sporting carnivals in the Peel region. The enthusiastic parent body is represented by the Parents and Friends’ Association with strong support from the School Board.
